For Red & White-Ball

Not just slogging sixes!

Age0+
For boys and girls age 10+ and adults

For parents

Your child can't score at all, or they're doing fine locally but can't break into county or rep level. Either way, you want to know why.

For adult players

You can't buy a run, or you're solid at your level and can't break into the one above it. You want a real answer.

For coaches

You know something is missing from the coaching system. You want to know what it is, and how to implement it.

The Saturday you know too well

You train during the week. You spend your whole Saturday for a game of cricket. Eight hours of your day, gone. And you get out, trying to force it. Or you stick around for five or six overs, but can't hit it off the square.

Or the same applies to your child. It's They look the part. They just can't score. They can't dominate. Then comes the drive home. Your child sitting quietly beside you, deflated, watching their friends pull further ahead. Slowly losing the love they had for the game.

You've tried the local coaches. The big names off Instagram. The masterclasses. None of it ever ties together. That's not your fault - it's because almost everyone in cricket is teaching the same handful of myths. And most of them are wrong.

The myths

Everyone teaches this.

Most of it's wrong.

Extend your arms through contact

Taught almost everywhere. Provably wrong on slow-motion footage of the best hitters alive — half the time their front elbow isn't extended at contact at all. This single myth is roughly 30% of the entire course.

None of these are theory. They're what you see when you study video of the best hitters in the world, frame by frame.

Keep a stable base

You don't need one. You need balance in the most powerful position: and sometimes that looks nothing like stability.

Fire the back hip

It's not the back hip firing on its own. It's the front leg driving the front hip through. Half the time we need to LIMIT the movement of the back hip.

Keep a level head

Often you need to allow the head to fall during the swing to 20-45 degrees angle.

Keep a straight front leg

Sometimes a bent knee hits the ball harder.

You need size and strength

Some of the smallest hitters on the planet are the most destructive.

Clear the front leg for power

This can be a symptom of cheating the swing with bad arm use. Sometimes closing it off gives you more power.

Chase the 'Power L' position

It's a result, not a target, and it only shows up about half the time. Don't force it!

What we will cover

3.5 hour workshop.

Learn things that will stick for years to come

We cover grip, stance, backlift - and not the usual advice.
BUT The most overlooked part is the arms, because almost no one teaches how they actually swing the bat. This workshop will introduce new concepts about how the arms work for hitting (both on the ground and in the air) and help you or your child program them in.

01.

Bat Mechanics : Arcs Not Lines

Moving away from lines.
Figure of 9 vs turning arms, using gravity, the slingshot effect. Hitting by swinging in arcs.

02.

Hand & Arm Mechanics

The swing is an ARM-led movement. The U-shaped swing. Hand placement at contact, hands as pivot points, why 'fast hands' is a myth. What to do instead.

03.

Backlift, Stance & Grip

Different backlift options, stance, back angle, and grip choice. Why breaking out of normal coaching limitations can free up natural talent in both red-ball and white ball

04.

Why you don't need extension

The real thing that will make you stand out. Break out of the limiting advice to extend your arms for optimal power hitting.

That might sound like a lot. It's not supposed to all land on day one. You start with the simple, fast-start drills, step by step. This is deep knowledge you'll run in cycles for years — but the entry point is simple.

Where this came from

I'm not a former professional. I qualified as a coach in 2009 and spent years watching players get the same advice I'd been given, and go nowhere with it.

Nearly 20,000 slow-motion clips of the best batters in the world, broken down frame by frame, looking for what they actually do rather than what gets taught. It took nine years. Most of what I found contradicts standard coaching, particularly around the arms, which almost nobody teaches at all.

Since 2021 I've used it with professional T20 batters, county players, club cricketers and juniors from age ten. It works the same way at every level, because the mechanics don't change.

This isn't a set of tips. It's a system you'll keep coming back to for years.

There are only 4-5 weeks left of the season. Every week you wait, you fall further behind.

Is this too complex for me or my child?

No. Follow the drills, step by step. You don't need to understand the mechanics to get the benefit.

I've tried coaching before and not seen changes

This is totally different. If you're an adult player or a junior player, this will make you better!

Does this work for adults, not just juniors?

Yes. This will improve an adult 1st XI premier league batter, a 3rd XI middle order batter, a 15 year old CAG player or a 10 year old new-ish to cricket.

How is this different to standard coaching?

Coaches do a good job but have been given a limited coaching rule book to work from. This is entirely different structure. It's built from 9 years mapping nearly 20,000 videos of elite players, and it's a system other coaches have never seen.

I'm already good, Is this still for me?

Yes. A lot of players I work with aren't struggling: they're stuck. The gap between doing well and getting picked at the next level can be fixed by the same mechanical gaps this course fixes.

What if we're not happy?

You can get a full refund up to 1 4 days after course access. You will have seen half the course after 14 days and had 2 live calls. If it's not for you, you can get a refund (but lose the 2nd half of course and 2 remaining live calls).

Is this for coaches too?

Yes, this will make you a better coach. You will have ready-made drills and all the detailed bio-mechanical understanding too from following the in-depth tutorials
